The motorcycle rider was traveling eastbound on a 1986 Harley Davidson. At the same time and place, a 2020 Nissan sedan, being driven by a 55 year old man from Studio City, was attempting to make a left turn on the north side of the road. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle rider tried to pass him.
In a tragic series of events, the motorcycle rider lost control of his Harley and according to CHP officials, “collided with the roadway.”

One of the other individuals at the scene had minor injuries but was not taken to the Hospital.
The Nissan driver was not injured according to CHP officials. As of Monday night, Police were not aware of whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
ANALYSIS:
Thoughts and prayers going out to everyone involved in this accident. Based on the facts we have available, it does not sound like the driver of the Nissan was negligent. The motorcycle rider tried to go around him which likely was unsafe given the circumstances.
